Course Description

The 2022 SCOMS Annual Meeting and CME  is designed to update osteopathic physicians on current information regarding important medical topics and rapidly changing therapeutic areas. The emphasis of this program is on practical and useful information for a clinical practice.

CME Accreditation Statement The South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society (SCOMS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The 2022 SCOMS Annual Meeting & CME will offer 6 AOA Category 1-A CME credits. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she spent in the educational activity. Attendees must complete the Evaluation Form and the Attestation Form to receive CME Credit. SCOMS will file your CME hours with the AOA and provide you a CME Certificate.

SCOMS Continuing Medical Education Policy Evaluation data will be compiled and provided to SCOMS. Comments and suggestions regarding program content, location and other program specific details will be considered when planning future activities. Grievances regarding program administration and reporting of AOA CME credits will be handled on an individual basis. Participants with grievances that cannot be resolved will be sent to the AOA CCME.

Who Should Attend? This conference is designed for Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, MD Physicians, Residents and Medical Students, as well as, Advance Practice Providers and Allied Health Professionals.

Cancellations SCOMS must be notified of any cancellation in writing by May 13, 2022, in order to provide a refund. Cancellations received after May 13, 2022 will not be refunded.
